Matthew J. Evans is an actor, musician, and a filmmaker. He made his first theatrical appearance at the tender age of 4 and began working in film and TV five years later, when he was 9. In Columbia Picture's Bad Teacher (2011), Matthew played the part of Garret Tiara. He has appeared in Scrubs, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, King of Queens, and many other TV shows. Matthew is also a musician who sings and plays string bass, acoustic guitar, and bass guitar. Additionally, Matthew has produced and edited four documentary short films.

He portrayed Alistair in the Lab Rats episode, Perry 2.0.

  • He won 1st place in the middle school division of the Filmmakers of Tomorrow competition in 2009 for his documentary short film, "Staying Spry".
  • Matthew directed a short film in 2010, called "A War Story, A Love Story," which won Best Documentary and Best in Festival at Interlochen Future Cinema International Film Festival.
  • Matthew produced and directed a documentary short film in 2011, called "Poetic Justice Project," which won Best Student Documentary at the Spirit Quest Film Festival in Pennsylvania.
  • He has studied under the well-known booking coach, Amy Lyndon.
